Nioh 2: The First Samurai is the third and final DLC expansion for Nioh 2, developed by Team Ninja and released in December 2020. The expansion continues the story of the main game, taking players back in time to uncover the origins of the protagonist, Hide, and the legendary first samurai. It introduces new areas to explore, additional story missions, new enemies, and powerful new gear. The First Samurai also expands the game's combat mechanics with new skills and abilities, providing a challenging experience for players.
