In-game combat mechanics include shooting cannons, firearms and melee combat with weapons. Therefore, some blood and corpses will appear, but in a cartoonish / pixel art style. Inside the narrative, some specific events will make reference to alcohol (grog), smoking and gambling, in a typical pirate way, but are not part of any core in-game mechanics.
