PLEASE CONFIRM THE DECEASED is a horror game for mature players. You work the night intake desk of a municipal morgue: bagged corpses arrive on gurneys, you take instrument readings from a body behind observation glass, and you stamp a verdict on paperwork that does not always match what is on the table — including intakes that still present a pulse. Its themes are death handled as clerical work, institutional decay, coercion and complicity. Nothing is ever uncovered. The game contains no depicted killing, no blood or gore, no sexual content and no nudity. The horror is a reading that cannot be right, a rule added to the book overnight, and a case taken off your hands.
