Thousands of years later, when a zealous leader named Maevor Atra meddles with the Vein's remnants, rare individuals called Soul Formers emerge - people who can reach into the plane of the dead and bind restless souls to their will. You are one of them. Sold into the gladiator arenas of Naskarr, the last great city, you command soul-bound creatures across four warring factions: the disciplined Order, the brutal Imps, the ever-hungry Maws, and the mutating Gelkind. Each battle demands sacrifice - your fallen creatures fuel darker powers as you harvest their Essence to widen your powers. In Naskarr's arena pits, the crowd cheers for your pain because it makes them forget their own.
