The story
In the city of Lakeshore, you, your partner Yaz, and mechanic Rydell run a repair and mod shop...until a shocking betrayal by Yaz leaves the shop underfunded and threatened for shutdown. Two years later, after you meet a girl named Tess and help her escape the cops, she decides to work with you and Rydell to raise money and enter the Grand, the city's biggest street race, to take back your ride and become the best in the city.
