KeeperRL

KeeperRL is an ambitious dungeon simulator with roguelike and RPG elements. Take the role of an evil wizard and study the methods of black magic. Equip your minions and explore the world, murder innocent villagers and burn their homes. Build your dungeon, lay traps and prepare for an assault of angry heroes. The gameplay is a combination of real-time dungeon sim, and simultaneous turn-based, roguelike, adventure mode. The dungeon/colony sim has real-time base building, RPG-like army gathering, and occasional tower defense for when enemies invade the player's dungeon. The adventure part involves exploration of a large, procedurally generated world map, and tough squad-based combat where the player selects a leading minion to move the squad around and fight threats in simultaneous turns.

The story

The player takes the role of an evil wizard who seeks the powers of destruction. Explore the world, kill villagers and burn their homes. Build your own dungeon, set traps and prepare for an assault of furious heroes. The game turns into a roguelike with turn-based combat when you control your minions, adventure around the world and assault other dungeons. Master up to 10 unique factions and their respective keepers. Play as a Dark Wizard, a Necromancer, or a Goblin King, for example. Your chosen faction will impact gameplay and the style of your dungeon.
