This is not the beginning of a nightmare, but the end of a peaceful dream. Haruki Atou, an investigator who works for the Otowa Detective Agency, was entrusted with taking care of his junior, Shinano, who was found with amnesia. One day, Shinano suddenly disappeared. The last place where his whereabouts was confirmed, it was near the facility of the religious group "Supreme Heaven Research Institute", which Atou was planning to investigate next.
