Astronaut Assault

Step into the boots of an Astronaut who is part of a non-violent expedition of Astronauts, when they suddenly come under attack from an alien robot army. With no weapon, the Astronaut must lead the defense to save themselves and their people by building turrets to defeat waves of enemies and bosses. During the course of each level, the gameplay evolves from a focus on turret placement strategy to all out chaos and mostly running for your life during the later waves. Experience a story mode with differing environments, enemies, and unique boss fights and a challenge mode that offers replay-able sandbox customization for turret usage, enemy combatants, difficulty settings, and achievement hunting.

The story

It is a time of peril in the far reaches of the galaxy. A brave Astronaut on a Forward Expedition has been separated from their crew during a sudden and devastating attack by the ominous Galactic Assault. Stranded alone, the Astronaut embarks on a desperate quest across unknown worlds, seeking survivors and a way to repair their damaged ship. Along their journey, they encounter relentless foes, both native to the alien landscapes and the merciless hunters of the Galactic Assault. As the Astronaut battles through wave after wave of enemies, an even darker truth begins to emerge. Whispers of a full-scale invasion of the Astronaut’s home city by the Galactic Assault loom ominously on the horizon. The fate of their civilization hangs in the balance, and the mission to return home has never been more urgent. Will the Astronaut find a way to reunite with their crew and save their home from total annihilation? The journey is fraught with danger, but the fight for survival and the hope for a safe return drive them forward.
